ICICI Adani One Signature Credit Card Review: Niche Card, Real Value?
5 April 2026 · BestCard Editorial Team

The ICICI Bank Adani One Signature Credit Card is a co-brand card built around the Adani ecosystem — airports, gas, and electricity billers — rather than a general-purpose travel or cashback card. That makes it a genuinely useful niche pick if your life already intersects with Adani infrastructure, but a much less obvious choice if it doesn't, so it's worth being honest about how narrow that ecosystem actually is before applying.
Fees and eligibility at a glance
The joining and annual fees are both ₹5,000, waived on ₹6,00,000 of annual spend — a moderate threshold, easier to clear than the ₹10,00,000 bar some premium co-brand cards set. The forex markup is 3.5%, on the higher end for a premium-tier card, which is worth factoring in if you travel internationally with any frequency, since it erodes the value of the accelerated ecosystem rewards fairly quickly on foreign spend.
Rewards and how they actually work
Card spend within the Adani ecosystem — airports, gas, and electricity — earns an accelerated 7% reward rate, a genuinely strong number if that spend is a regular part of your life. Outside the ecosystem, the base rate drops to 1.5%, which is respectable but unremarkable for general spend. Redemption follows ICICI's usual structure: free for statement credit or ICICI's own catalogue vouchers, with a ₹99 + GST fee per request only for select third-party gift or merchandise catalogue items. The card's value proposition is really about whether that 7% category actually shows up in your monthly spending, since the gap between 7% and 1.5% is large enough to swing the card's overall usefulness dramatically.
Lounge access and travel perks
Lounge access is generous for a mid-premium card: unlimited domestic access via Priority Pass for both primary and add-on cardholders, plus unlimited international lounge access covering 1,900+ lounges across 145+ countries. In practice, the stated benefit is capped at 4 complimentary domestic visits per quarter (16 a year) and 2 complimentary international visits annually, so "unlimited" access to the network comes with a real visit ceiling once you're past the complimentary allotment. A 1% fuel surcharge waiver applies nationwide on qualifying HPCL transactions, tying the fuel benefit back into the Adani/HPCL ecosystem the card is built around.
What's genuinely good about this card
The 7% reward rate within the Adani ecosystem is a strong number by any standard, and if you regularly fly through Adani-operated airports or pay Adani gas and electricity bills, that rate compounds meaningfully over a year. Sixteen domestic lounge visits annually is a solid allowance — enough for someone who travels several times a month without feeling rationed the way a 4-or-8-visit card does. The welcome bundle, worth up to ₹9,000, is a genuinely useful offset against the ₹5,000 fee in year one. And the 1.5% base rate outside the ecosystem, while not exceptional, is still a reasonable floor for a co-brand card — some co-brand cards drop to near-zero outside their bonus category, and this one doesn't.
Where it falls short
The entire value proposition rests on how much of your actual spending touches the Adani ecosystem — airports, gas, electricity — and for most cardholders outside specific cities and utility footprints, that's a fairly narrow slice of monthly spend. The 3.5% forex markup is a real drawback for a card with meaningful lounge ambitions, since frequent international travellers will find the markup eating into the value the lounge access provides. And while the lounge network numbers sound broad, 1,900+ lounges through Priority Pass doesn't automatically mean deeper coverage than a bank-agnostic top-tier travel card — it's solid, not category-leading.
Who this card actually makes sense for
This card makes the most sense for someone who genuinely transacts with the Adani ecosystem regularly — flying through Adani airports, paying Adani gas or electricity bills — and who values a large domestic lounge allowance over international breadth. If your spending doesn't touch that ecosystem, the 1.5% base rate and 3.5% forex markup make this a middling general-purpose card rather than a compelling one.
