Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card Review: Is It Worth It?
1 September 2026 · BestCard Editorial Team

The Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card is built around one idea: if a meaningful share of your spending already flows through Tata Group brands — BigBasket, Croma, Tata 1mg, Air India, Taj hotels, IHCL properties — the card pays you back in NeuCoins at a rate that's hard to match with a generic cashback card. Outside that ecosystem, it's a solid but unremarkable card. The review below is really about figuring out which bucket you're in.
How the NeuCoin structure actually works
NeuCoins earned on the card are worth ₹1 each and can be redeemed directly at any Tata Neu partner brand — there's no confusing points-to-cash conversion table to decode, which is a real advantage over reward-point cards that quietly devalue your points at redemption. The catch is that the accelerated earn rate only applies on Tata Neu app purchases and select partner brands; spending outside that ecosystem earns at the base rate, which is close to what any decent cashback card offers anyway.
This means the card's value is lopsided by design. If you already buy groceries on BigBasket, book flights on Air India, or shop electronics at Croma, the accelerated NeuCoins can meaningfully beat a flat 1-2% cashback card. If none of that matches your habits, you're paying an annual fee for a rewards structure you'll rarely trigger at its best rate.

Where it falls short
The card's non-Tata spending rate isn't exceptional, so using it as your only card for everything is a mistake — it works best as a second card layered on top of a general spending card, reserved specifically for Tata ecosystem purchases. It's also worth checking the current milestone benefits and lounge access terms directly, since Tata periodically revises the value proposition, and a review written even a few months back may describe a slightly different benefit structure.
Should you get it
If you can map at least two or three recurring expense categories — groceries, travel, electronics — onto Tata Neu partner brands, the card is genuinely worth applying for through the Tata Neu Infinity application page. If your spending is scattered across brands with no Tata overlap, you're better served by a straightforward flat-rate cashback card that doesn't ask you to change where you shop to get full value.
