BOBCARD Tiara Review 2026: Is This Women's Card Worth ₹2,499?
22 September 2026 · BestCard Editorial Team

BOBCARD Tiara is Bank of Baroda's credit card for women. It pairs a decent 3.75% reward rate on travel and dining with a large subscription bundle, unlimited domestic lounge access and preventive health check-ups. You'll get the most out of it if you spend ₹25,000 or more a month and will actually use Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Swiggy One and the rest. If you won't, the ₹2,499 fee is harder to justify.
Who the Tiara is for
The card suits women who:
- spend steadily on dining, food delivery and travel within India;
- already pay for several OTT, shopping or food subscriptions and would like a card to cover them;
- want unlimited domestic lounge access without paying for a premium card;
- value health benefits like Pap smear, blood test and mammography packages.
It's not designed for heavy international travel or for anyone chasing flat cashback on every spend.
Fees and waiver
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Joining fee | ₹2,499 + GST (reversed on ₹25,000 spend within 60 days) |
| Annual fee | ₹2,499 + GST |
| Renewal waiver | ₹2.5 lakh annual spend |
| Network | RuPay |
| Forex markup | 2% |
Getting the joining fee back is easy: ₹25,000 in the first two months is ordinary household spending for most cardholders. The ₹2.5 lakh renewal waiver works out to about ₹20,800 a month. That's reachable if this is your main card, harder if it's a secondary one.
Reward structure
Tiara earns reward points worth 25 paise each:
- Travel and dining: 3.75% effective
- Everything else: 0.75% base
BestCard's data doesn't show a monthly cap on Tiara's accelerated categories. That's worth confirming with BOBCARD, because the sibling BOB Eterna caps the same 3.75% rate at ₹1,250 a month per category.
Worked example: ₹40,000 a month
Say ₹8,000 goes on dining, food delivery and travel bookings, and ₹32,000 on everything else.
- Travel and dining: ₹8,000 × 3.75% = ₹300
- Other spends: ₹32,000 × 0.75% = ₹240
- Monthly value: ₹540, or ₹6,480 a year
Annual spend of ₹4.8 lakh clears the ₹2.5 lakh renewal waiver, and ₹1.2 lakh a quarter clears the ₹75,000 lounge threshold, so you keep both.
Worked example: ₹20,000 a month
With ₹5,000 on travel and dining and ₹15,000 elsewhere: ₹187.50 + ₹112.50 = ₹300 a month, or ₹3,600 a year. Annual spend is ₹2.4 lakh, just below the waiver, so you'd pay ₹2,499 + GST at renewal unless you push a bit more through the card. Quarterly spend of ₹60,000 also misses the ₹75,000 lounge trigger. At this level, the subscriptions do most of the work.

Lounge access, subscriptions and other benefits
Domestic lounges. Unlimited complimentary domestic airport lounge access, unlocked on ₹75,000 of spend in a quarter. There's no international lounge benefit. Our lounge spend rules explainer explains how these quarterly gates usually work.
Subscriptions. Complimentary Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Gaana Plus and Swiggy One memberships. If you'd otherwise pay for two or three of these, the bundle alone can be worth more than the fee. BestCard's data doesn't include renewal conditions for the memberships, so check whether they continue automatically every year.
Shopping vouchers. ₹500 discount vouchers every quarter for Nykaa, Myntra and Flipkart.
Health. Complimentary women's health check-ups covering Pap smear, blood tests and a mammography package.
Fitness. A complimentary 12-month FITPASS PRO membership as a welcome benefit for cards issued on or after 1 August 2026.
Fuel. 1% surcharge waiver on ₹400–₹5,000 transactions, capped at ₹250 per statement cycle.

How Tiara compares
| Card | Annual fee | Accelerated rate | Domestic lounge |
|---|---|---|---|
| BOBCARD Tiara | ₹2,499 | 3.75% travel and dining | Unlimited on ₹75,000/quarter |
| BOB Eterna | ₹2,499 | 3.75% travel, dining, online (₹1,250/month cap each) | Unlimited |
| YES Essence | ₹799 | 4% dining and online shopping | 1 per quarter on ₹25,000 prior-quarter spend |
| Union Bank DIVAA ICON | ₹1,499 | 0.6% base, lifestyle discounts | 2 per quarter |
BOB Eterna is the closest sibling. It adds 3.75% on online shopping, comes with a free joining fee and offers unlimited domestic lounges in our data. It suits you better if you shop online heavily and don't need the women-focused health and subscription perks. It needs ₹1 lakh monthly income, though.
YES Essence costs much less at ₹799 (waived on ₹1 lakh spend) and pays 4% on dining and online shopping, but its lounge allowance is minimal.
Union Bank DIVAA ICON is another RuPay women's card, with salon, entertainment and insurance perks. It has a lower ₹1 lakh waiver threshold but a weak reward rate.

Verdict
BOBCARD Tiara is a perks-first card. Most of its value comes from the bundled subscriptions, unlimited domestic lounges and health check-ups rather than the reward rate. If you spend ₹25,000 or more a month, use two or more of the memberships and fly domestically a few times a year, it pays for itself many times over. If you spend less or don't care about the bundle, BOB Eterna or YES Essence will give you more for your money.
