IndusInd Crest Credit Card Review 2026: Fees, Perks, Value
21 September 2026 · BestCard Editorial Team

IndusInd Bank Crest is the bank's top lifestyle card, sitting above Pinnacle and Legend. It costs ₹75,000 to join and ₹10,000 a year to renew, with the renewal fee waived once household spend crosses ₹10 lakh a year. You get 2 domestic and 2 international lounge visits every quarter, monthly golf, BookMyShow offers and ₹2.5 crore of air accident cover. Its reward rate, though, is thin for the price. It's a perks card for high earners, not a rewards maximiser's card.
Who IndusInd Crest is for
- High-income households already banking with IndusInd
- Families who can run ₹10 lakh+ a year through the card to waive the renewal fee
- Regular moviegoers and golfers who'll use the monthly benefits
- Travellers who fly a few times a quarter and want lounge access on both domestic and international trips
If you're optimising for points or miles, it's the wrong card.
Fees and waiver
| Item | IndusInd Crest |
|---|---|
| Joining fee | ₹75,000 + GST |
| Annual fee | ₹10,000 + GST |
| Fee waiver spend | ₹10,00,000 in the preceding 12 months (primary + add-ons) |
| Forex markup | 2% |
| Network | Visa |
| Min. monthly income | ₹2,00,000 |
The joining fee is the hurdle. With 18% GST it comes to ₹88,500, and BestCard's data doesn't list a welcome voucher that refunds it the way some competitors do. After year one, the picture improves: the ₹10,000 renewal fee is reversed in full if combined primary and add-on spend reaches ₹10 lakh over the previous 12 months.
Reward structure, with a worked example
BestCard's data lists a 1% base reward rate and 2% on dining and travel, with points valued at 25 paise each.
Example: ₹1,00,000 a month
- Dining and travel: ₹25,000 × 2% = ₹500
- Everything else: ₹75,000 × 1% = ₹750
- Monthly rewards: ₹1,250
- Yearly rewards: ₹15,000
- Annual spend: ₹12 lakh, so the ₹10,000 renewal fee is waived
Example: ₹60,000 a month
- Dining and travel: ₹15,000 × 2% = ₹300
- Everything else: ₹45,000 × 1% = ₹450
- Monthly rewards: ₹750
- Yearly rewards: ₹9,000
- Annual spend: ₹7.2 lakh, short of the waiver, so you pay ₹11,800 with GST
At ₹60,000 a month, rewards don't cover the renewal fee. At ₹1 lakh, you keep the full ₹15,000 because the fee is waived. Either way, it takes years of rewards to recover the ₹88,500 joining cost, which is why the card only makes sense if you value the lifestyle perks.
These figures reflect BestCard's latest card data, and IndusInd changes terms from time to time, so verify the current reward rates and exclusions on IndusInd's site before applying.

How it compares
| Card | Joining fee | Annual fee | Base rate | Forex | Lounges |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| IndusInd Crest | ₹75,000 | ₹10,000 | 1% | 2% | 2 dom + 2 intl/quarter |
| IndusInd Pinnacle | ₹15,000 | ₹0 | 2% | 3.5% | Unlimited domestic + Priority Pass |
| IndusInd Legend | ₹5,000 | ₹0 | 1.5% | 2% | Priority Pass |
| HDFC Infinia | ₹12,500 | ₹12,500 | 3.33% | 2% | Unlimited, incl. add-ons |
| ICICI Emeralde Private Metal | ₹12,499 | ₹12,499 | 3% | 1.5% | Unlimited, incl. add-ons |
IndusInd Pinnacle costs a fifth as much to join, has no annual fee in our data and earns a higher base rate. It's the better rewards card within IndusInd. Our planned IndusInd Pinnacle review goes deeper.
IndusInd Legend is the budget option: ₹5,000 to join, no annual fee, 2% forex and Priority Pass. See our IndusInd Legend review.
HDFC Infinia and ICICI Emeralde Private Metal both cost far less to join, earn around three times Crest's base rate and offer unlimited lounges for primary and add-on cardholders. Both waive their fee at ₹10 lakh of annual spend. If you can get either, the rewards case is much stronger. Read our HDFC Infinia review for comparison.

Verdict
IndusInd Crest is a lifestyle card with a steep entry price. The quarterly lounge visits, golf, BookMyShow benefits and ₹2.5 crore air cover are good, and the ₹10 lakh renewal waiver is realistic for a high-earning household. But at a 1% base rate, it never earns back its ₹75,000 joining fee through rewards.
Take it if you're an existing IndusInd client who'll use the perks every month. Otherwise, HDFC Infinia or ICICI Emeralde Private Metal give you more lounges and far better rewards for a fraction of the joining cost. Use the BestCard compare tool to put them side by side, or the card matcher to see which fits your spending.
